Zola vs Joy for RSVPs: is there something better for getting guests to actually respond?
Zola and Joy are both good free wedding websites, and both collect RSVPs well. For getting guests to respond, they work the same way: they show you who hasn’t answered, and you send the reminders. If guests aren’t answering, what helps is someone following up for you. That is what Replied adds, and it works alongside either one.
If your RSVPs are flowing and nobody’s texting you questions, you may not need us.
Zola and Joy, for RSVPs
Zola
Collects RSVPs on your free website. Reminders are sent by you: a message to your guest list, or a reminder from Zola’s iOS app, whose wording Zola says it can’t change. Zola doesn’t offer digital invitations. Cash-fund gifts need a US bank account and address.
Joy
Collects RSVPs on your free website and app, and lets you ask guests your own questions. When you write a reminder, Joy picks the guests who haven’t answered and you press send. Texting guests, and scheduling a message for later, need Joy’s paid Messaging Plus upgrade. Joy texts US and Canadian numbers.
