The privacy promise

Replied exists to get your guests to answer — not to keep their data. That's true before you buy anything, too: whatever you upload is deleted on a schedule, whether or not you ever start guest communications.

What we collect

The guest list you give us (names, emails, phone numbers, party sizes), the RSVP responses and meal choices guests submit, and a log of the follow-ups we send on your behalf. After the wedding, if you turn it on, we also ask each guest for a mailing address so you can write back — optional for them, and we tell them on the spot how long we keep it. If you set up free and haven't bought the product yet, we hold the same things — your account email and the guest list you imported — under the deletion schedule below. That's it. We don't sell it, we don't build advertising profiles out of it, and no tracking pixel follows your guests around the internet. The only outside companies that touch it are the ones that deliver the product — our email, text-messaging, hosting and database providers — and they may only use it to do that job.

Deleted after the wedding — or after you walk away

Within 60 days of your wedding date, we permanently delete how to reach your guests — email, phone, mailing address, messaging IDs — along with their answers: party size, meal choices, dietary notes, and any questions they asked. What stays is yours, not theirs: your final Headcount Report, the photos your guests shared, any note they left you, and a plain list of who came. We'll remind you to download the addresses before that date. If you want deletion sooner, one email does it.

Never bought the product? If you set up a free account and stop signing in, we delete the whole account — your guest list and everything in it — 90 days after your last sign-in. We email you two weeks before, and one sign-in resets the clock. This applies whether or not you ever entered a wedding date.

One exception, and we'd rather name it than let the sentence above overstate itself: when a guest opts in to text messages, we keep the record of that opt-in — the date, the exact wording they agreed to, and the number it was given for. Telecom rules require us to be able to show consent was given, so that record outlives the rest. It is never used to contact anyone, and it holds nothing beyond the opt-in itself.

Guest messages

Follow-ups are sent only about your wedding, only in the cadence you approve. Text messages go only to guests who opted in on their RSVP, and every one supports STOP. Guests can always reach you directly — we never stand between you and your people.

Text messaging

If you opt in on your RSVP page, we send wedding-related text messages (RSVP reminders and replies to your questions) on behalf of the wedding couple. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Phone numbers and SMS consent are not shared with, sold to, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties. Mobile information may be shared only with service providers that assist in delivering our services.

This marketing site

This website and the couple's side of the app are how couples find us and sign up, so they carry the ordinary tools a business uses to see which ads work: a page-count analytics service and an advertising pixel, currently Plausible and Meta. We may change or add to those over time. What does not change is where they run: none of them runs on a guest's pages. They never touch your guest list, your RSVP page, or anything a guest does — guests are never tracked or advertised to.
